Erica Johnson, PT, DPT

TrinityOne Physical Therapy

First things first, I love Jesus! I’m married to my high school sweetheart, Matt Johnson, and I’m a mom to four wonderful kids: Caden, Kya, Aurora and Phoenix who fill nearly every moment of my time when I’m not at our clinic. I’m a 2003 Minford grad.  I obtained my B.S. in Exercise Science from The Ohio State University in 2007 and my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Ohio University in 2010. I specialize in manual therapy for pain reduction and movement restoration including: dry needling, Myokinesthetic System, Mulligan Concept, Kinesiotaping, and joint mobilization/manipulation. I also have an extensive background in pediatrics treating conditions such as torticollis and gait abnormalities as well as neurologic rehab including vestibular disorders, post-stroke and Parkinson’s Disease. I love what do. I love helping people. It absolutely makes my day when someone walks through my door with pain and leaves with none. Striving for that result keeps me focused and drives me to continually improve my skills as a Physical Therapist.

In July 2017 we opened TrinityOne Physical Therapy as a leap of faith with a mission of providing exceptional, individualized care to every patient we have the privilege to serve. As Christians we believe that life is a precious gift of God and want to help people by eliminating pain and improving function to enable our patients to make the most of the time we each are given. Our vision is to make Physical Therapy primary care for mobility and functional impairments by increasing public accessibility; providing expert, evidence-based care; and making care affordable. To accomplish this goal we had to go outside convention. We found that access to physical therapy is increasingly limited by individuals not being under the care of a physician to refer them to PT, insurance restrictions, and the care is compromised by corporate bottom lines. To break down these barriers TrinityOne is a direct access, direct pay clinic. People can come to us on their own without insurance or a referral and receive the care they need it, when they need it and move on!
